approach for white papers, web copy, search engine optimization
(SEO) and other marketing collateral focuses on the problems
your product or service solves for your prospects and the
benefits of your solution. I don't get lost in the
features and forget to tell the reader what's in it for
them. The result is copy that consistently draws
response.
Simply posting print materials online generally
results in little response.
I work with clients to be
sure their online marketing information focuses on the intended
purpose. This may mean using SEO tactics to re-work a
web site, writing a white paper to educate a reader as part of
a complex sale, writing banner ads or PPC ads to attract
visitors to a web site, or writing landing pages that are
consistent with the ads and encourage visitors to take the
desired action.
White papers work online and can
also work in print when used as a leave-behind by sales,
offered as a bait piece in ads, or provided as part of a direct
mail package.
Driving a reader to take an action is always one
